Where's the Pig?
I was at Chinatown the other day trying to soak in some CNY atmosphere..
But all I got was a big disappointment.
The lightings are minimal (thou good in terms of saving energy), the shops are minimal (they used to spider around all the alleys) and the variety are minimal.
What is happening!?!?! Too early?
The very minimal decorations. Only the stretch from the 1st overhead bridge near Pearl Centre to that traffic light at The Majestic.
The very short bak gua que. Too early for the craze.
布袋戏! In Teochew or Hokkien. Cant really differentiate the both. I think is Teochew lah.
Close up.
大红灯笼高高挂.
Street lamps. European design, Cheena background.
North Bridge Road. Decorations cover the span of 3 streetlights. Watever happened to the rows of pink pig skins that were hanging b4 this?
No zodiac animals around.
Chinatown Point
The junction of Eu Tong Sen St.
Laser lightings shining on Hotel 81. Mus be pissing the occupants inside off.

I kind of like this pic.
The atmosphere at Chinatown jus reminds me of this clip.
